i have so many visions and goals, and i hope you do too. I think i’ve sometimes confused people when i explain my career ambitions, but here’s my typical response: “I don’t believe in limiting myself”.

this apsect of my platform is all about purpose and imagination. I aim to foster spaces for you to be a visionary. be inspired, be optimistic, and feel the safety net of the spelman sisterhood to know that you never have to reach for your dreams alone.

evoking vision

i love spelman’s motto, “a choice to change the world” and i believe this ties well into what it means to evoke vision. to go out in the world and be a change maker requires understanding purpose and opportunity.

i have always had a very big imagination and ambitious spirit. it’s fair to say this drive led me to run for miss spelman college, but it has also contributed to my career goals.

for me, living in a way that is reflective of a purpose bigger than myself is essential. one of the ways i like to do this is by encouraging others to be visionaries and goal seekers.

i aspire to be a cosmetic chemical engineer, making skincare for people of color in order to decrease the disparity gap in the cosmetic industry and mitigate associated health issues. i also want to be a designer/creative director
